We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated in a traditional Japanese style, with tatami floors and a separate private room to relax in. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, taking the time to assist us in planning our short stay and recommending the best tourist activities. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly residents made us feel like we were truly experiencing what it would be like to live in this city.
Not obvious to find.

Hotel's location was not far from main attractions like nanzen ji. A super base for our city trip, would happily return. A kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals...

The room was spacious and clean, with a nice Japanese-style decoration that added a unique touch. The staff lent us bicycles for free, which was great because we were able to ride them to the train station and explore the area easily. The location of the hotel was also peaceful and quiet, which provided a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The hotel was quite far from the train station, making it a bit inconvenient to get around. there were some issues with the bicycles, such as keeping track of the keys for the locks and having to pay for bicycle parking, which added some extra hassle to our stay.

My partner and I had a wonderful romantic retreat at this traditional Japanese ryokan. the room was beautifully decorated with authentic tatami mats and a cozy futon. We also enjoyed the complimentary tea and snacks provided. the location was perfect for a peaceful escape from the city, with a serene garden nearby and scenic walking trails.
The bathroom amenities could use some updating as the shower was difficult to operate and the facilities were not very clean. the ryokan was a bit difficult to find and required a longer walk from public transportation than we anticipated.
